                                                 A      friend of mine Chuck Ripple called and said our location would be able to see the space shuttle cross the lower southeast sky around ten mins after the launch. Well it was right on time zipping fast across the lower section of the video!!!!

Leonids 2002 was not like the 2001 storm. On the morning of November 19, 2002 the full moon scattered light keeping it hard to see many of the shooting stars. Here is some video I took of the 2002 shower. This file is in DivX format click below to get a player. DivX.com

Nice cloud to ground strike somewhere in N.C. I have slowed this video down so you can see the leader in the center that never made it to the ground.

A Beautiful cloud to ground  that appears to be hitting a car or something along the road. As the lightning shoots out of the cloud looking for a contact point. The shot was taken by chase partner Jesse Bass.
