If you remember the gas station I pointed out in the first Nags Head series you can understand on how close this strike was. The house has been illuminated from that gas station taking a direct hit from a cloud to ground strike. In the upper right hand side of this photo you can clearly see a leader intended to strike somewhere on the beach right in front of me.
