2000 another round of storms were caught and this would be one
of my bad nights. This two shots were taken by Allen a friend of
mine who was chasing with me. I had just got my new Tamron lens
24-70 and I was happy about trying the new lens out. So it
started out that I did not have my quick disconnect on my camera
and I was unable to use my tripod, but that did not stop me and
I used the hood of my car and fired away, but what's this noise
I keep hearing, yes it was my lens and it was failing on bulb
and I did not bring a back up so the whole night was his and
when this shot happened I was very upset. It was a massive
strike about 1/4 mile away and he was using his Canon AE-1 with
the 28mm lens I let him use. So I have to say great shot Allen
till next time.... |
