11-12, 2000 storm were different, why, because a
friend and I started chasing 40 miles and came
up with just Anvil Crawlers and the storms
died a short time later so both of us went home.
When I got out of the car at home the skies were
clear and I came in and talked to my wife for 20
minutes or so and was getting ready for bed, so
I went to check the radar to see what happen to
the past storms and there were storms right on
top of us and not the same one's so I said
there is no way this could be true and
check the lightning data and there was ton of
lightning thinking the web site was having
problems I went out to check still not
believing and looked up at continuous flashes of
lightning, I was wrong, so I shot down the
street to a parking lot of a factory and got
this double strike with a 28mm lens. The
lightning was striking close and I was in the
car for this one only getting out to advance the
film. |
